All four kittens are now running around, jumping up on furniture and have discovered the delights of climbing 2 flights of stairs! Although Blossom insists on feeding them quite often, they are far more interested in solid food and Pebbles in particular has developed a taste for mince, peas and gravy....
The older cats have joined in the raising of this little family - Petal is a scrupulous washer of little furry faces; Stephen is back on litter tray duty; Spike supervises feeding time (though he could have an ulterior motive in that there is often food left over...); Bono guards the cellar door to prevent them going downstairs; Daisy and Holly join in the races up and down the stairs - sitting watching them is far more entertaining than tv!
At 8 weeks old, they are racing up and down stairs, having "mad" half-hours and doing everything that kittens do so well. Blossom still feeds them in the evenings, and then they all collapse in a heap and sleep...this is an enchanting stage of development and they are playing with the older cats quite happily.
