Here is Zzoro Bono, our wonderful black smoke neutered boy. He is six years old and has a very laid-back attitude to life (can usually be found laid back on our bed), and takes great care of his "girls", Blossom,Daisy,Holly and Lilia.
Once a year, he does his star turn at the Bingley Show, where, for three years, he was awarded "Best Neuter in Show".
He has recently been visiting Residential Care Homes and Day Centres in the Bradford area, where he will happily let residents stroke him.
Bono (named after his U2 counterpart)has a penchant for curry. He also takes great care of any kittens that might stray where they shouldn't around the house. He has a very highly tuned sense for wandering kitties and herds them back into the living room if they go too far. It's useful to have such large paws on these occasions...
Here he is, inspecting his trophies from Bingley Show 04
Pass the poppadoms!
He has to break them up himself....
Bono, now aged 6, maintains his interest in baby sitting....
Here is Bono with our black smoke kitten, Odin.
Two years ago, we decided to retire Bono from show competition, and exhibited him instead. Here he is, flying the flag for his native country and he always behaves with inscrutable calm and patience. It is lovely to see all his regular friends at Bingley Show, and he made plenty of new ones this year. He would like to say a special hello to all the children who came and stroked him.
Chris Bamford always ensures a successful cat show at Bingley, and deserves our thanks for all her hard work.
Bono is an experienced traveller. There's nothing he likes more than inspecting a hotel bedroom and familiarising himself with his new surroundings.
Bono drew crowds of specatators at the Supreme Cat Show at NEC, Birmingham. Visitors stroked him and he worked very hard all day, convincing people that Norwegian Forest Cats make wonderful pets.
